Below are just some of the questions that people ask us and our most common responses. What kind of Search Engine Marketing Services do you provide? We specialize in helping local businesses market themselves using Local Search Marketing, Pay Per Click Marketing, and Social Media Marketing.

My business needs a New Website. Can you build us one? Yes, we’ve built a number of websites for businesses that either did not have one or the one they did have was extremely outdated. The websites we build are typically WordPress designs because of the high number of features that can easily be incorporated into a design. This helps keep our custom website design costs down for our clients.

How long can it typically take to see first page results in the Local Search Results? Results vary based on the number of competitors in your local market. If you have 50 competitors in a category like Attorneys it can take some time. But if your local competition numbers less than 20 often we see results in a few weeks time. Of course Google can be somewhat slow at times to recognize changes we make.

What if I’m already on the first page for Local Search Results. How can you help me then? A number of our clients when they came to us already ranked for some local search terms. The problem was they didn’t rank high enough to see real results or they didn’t rank across a large enough number of search terms. Also if they’re not seeing results even though they have a good ranking then there might be a problem with what they are saying to the people seeing them in search results. We fix that.

What are some of the methods you use to achieve high Local Search Results? Of course the starting point is proper keyword research. But we also need to optimize the Google Places listing correctly. Possibly optimize the website as well. We then start building listing on different Internet Yellow Pages otherwise known as citations. We start getting reviews of your business from past customers. We also create video’s that help advertise your business on YouTube and in Google Places. The list goes on from there.

How do you track the Search Results? For tracking purposes we use a number of different sources. Google Places has a Dashboard that shows the number of impressions and actions taken on a listing. Google Adwords has tracking for Pay Per Click Ads that are being run. Bing’s Webmaster Tools has tracking that covers both Bing and Yahoo. And we will also install Google Analytics so we have one source that gives an accurate picture of all the website traffic. We also can track how individual keywords are ranking for Local as well as Organic Search in Google, Yahoo, and Bing.

What about Phone Calls, can those be tracked too? If a client wants to track phone calls from a particular Pay Per Click campaign or just the website we can provide Call Tracking for our clients as well. It’s often a great way for a client to measure the results of a particular campaign.
